The View from the Shard

A vertical journey unravels the story of London. Animations and graphics depict the growth of the city and diversity of its communities. Fascinating facts animate the skyline and lift ceilings are brought to life. An interlude on level 33, as whispering voices surround the immersive map of cryptic sentences. A typology of clouds builds anticipation for a dramatic sky or an expansive view. All accompanied by a musical score composed by David Mitcham, played by the LSO and recorded at Abbey Road studios. As creative lead, I developed the overarching interpretive concepts for displays, graphics and AV through to creative direction.
